ALACOM was founded by Manzur Alam in 2023. He holds a BSc from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Logistics, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School, City University, University of London and is CIPS qualified. He has over 25 years of experience in logistics, trade and finance, across Europe and Asia having worked for, and with a wide range of logistics and commodity trading companies.
ALACOM was founded on the fact that state of the art technology and advanced operating procedures alone are not enough when it comes to trading with countries in South and South East Asia. A clear understanding of the country, the people, the politics, the customs and culture, the geography, the environment, the infrastructure and legal structures are critical to success.
